University of Manitoba

The College of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba has evolved from a single undergraduate degree program, graduating its first class in 1962, into a multi-faceted professional academy, offering a variety of high quality programs, including: a four-year doctor of dental medicine degree, a two-year dental hygiene diploma, five graduate studies programs, and a considerable research profile involving a wide array of focuses. The College avidly works to improve and stay current in the above fields, and hopes to further explore opportunities involved with new areas as well.
The College is a member of the greater Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, located at the University of Manitoba Bannatyne Campus, which also includes the College of Medicine, College of Rehabilitation Sciences, College of Nursing, and College of Pharmacy. The interconnectedness of these colleges provides a unique opportunity for administrative leaders, students and faculty members to interact with colleagues in other health-related disciplines.
The College’s four-level building houses seminar and lecture rooms, computer laboratories, pre-clinical teaching laboratories, research laboratories, state-of-the-art clinics, offices and student lounges – all dedicated to an environment conducive to oral health teaching, research and community service.
